Ellyn Bogdanoff, the current incumbent, has:

• Voted for anti-choice legislation (HB 257) that forced women to undertake and pay for an ultrasound of the fetus prior to getting an abortion. (Chris's view)

• Voted against an amendment that would have strenghtened anti-bullying legislation by adding mental disabilities, physical disabilities, and sexual orientation to an existing list of enumerated categories of bullying.
  
  
• As House Whip, corralled the votes, multiple times, to pass District Cost Differential bills that cost South Florida school districts tens of millions of dollars. (Chris's view)
  
  
• Advocated legislation that replaced the landmark, bipartisan insurance bill with a bill (HB7077) that would have allowed insurance companies to have extended flexibility as to when they paid claims for condo and small business owners.
